Back in 1980...Vocalist CHIP MILLIGAN joined forces with classmates, drummer DAVE TIBERIO and guitar player TOM KEHOE. Through various inceptions of various band names (Like Turn of the Century), the core members endured and went out to play in various parts of the state. In fact, one former member Rick Dohr now plays keyboards for the Eagles. Well...things change...and the founding members went in different directions, started careers and families in different parts of the country. Flash Forward to 2002 and Chip, Dave (now playing bass) & Tom play together (with former bandmate Bill Lewis on drums) for their 20-year reunion to an absolutely packed house at Shorts Bar in Fairport. The crowd was in a frenzy over the high energy classic rock that harkened the room back to their youth and simpler times. Chip was living here...Tom had just moved back and Dave was looking to move back from North Carolina...the urge was there to play again. They wanted to round out their sound together even further...and called longtime friend...fleet-fingered guitarist JON BEATO. Jon brought a brand new dimension, and when teamed with Chip, Dave and Tom, plainly sounded huge. This was the beginning of something very special...and they knew it immediately. The search for a drummer began and they wanted to make the right move....they had patience. Enter JIMMY FOX, formerly of Cheater and Toronto fame. Chip and Dave had both played with Jimmy before in different bands...it was a natural. Jimmy completed the puzzle and Northside Johnny has begun to garner notice and praise in the Rochester scene. Five guys that can play and play hard...and reap the true enjoyment onstage of being lifelong friends.
